Step 2: Talk to us
After learning more about Anytime Fitness, we invite you to contact one of our knowledgeable Franchise Sales Representatives. To do this, you can either:
complete the Request Franchise Information form and have a sales representative call you, or
call 800-704-5004 or 651-438-5000 (M-F, 8am-5pm CT) and ask to speak to a sales representative.
During your initial phone consultation, we will discuss your location(s) of interest, their market demographics, and their real estate options. We will also talk about your financing options and your expectations for owning and operating an Anytime Fitness club.
If you decide to move forward after your phone consultation, we will send you our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD). Also at this time, we will request that you complete our Potential Franchisee Questionnaire/Application.
Step 3: Receive our Franchise Disclosure Document
The Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) will provide you with in-depth information about the Anytime Fitness franchise and its franchisees.
Franchise regulations require that you have the FDD for a period of 14 calendar days prior to purchasing a franchise. During this period, you should be actively working with your Franchise Sales Representative to finalize your territory selection and firm up your financing options.
Step 4: Receive a Franchise Agreement
The Franchise Agreement, which is a written contract between Anytime Fitness and you, lists both parties' obligations and responsibilities. If you are purchasing multiple territories, you will also receive an Area Development Agreement (ADA) at this time.
The disclosure period for the Franchise Agreement and the ADA is 7 calendar days, and it can run concurrently with your FDD disclosure period.
Step 5: Decision Time
This is an exciting step in the process, it's where you make your final decision. To officially become an Anytime Fitness franchisee, you simply need to sign your Franchise Agreement and submit an installment of your initial franchise fee to the corporate office.

Step: 6: Attend Training
During your initial training, you will learn about operational issues, sales techniques, and marketing strategies. Also during training, you will meet the Anytime Fitness preferred vendors. These vendors will discuss the many products available for outfitting your club and enhancing the member experience.
Our mandatory, one-week training course is required for the principal owner and/or operator of a new franchise. It can also be beneficial to invite key staff members to share in the knowledge!
Training is held at the Anytime Fitness Corporate Center. After your initial training, we provide daily or weekly assistance via the phone, onsite visits, email communications, and custom website systems. Assistance is available for as long as you need it, and there is no additional cost for this valuable training and support.
Step 7: Open Your Club
One of the benefits of being an Anytime Fitness franchisee, verses being on your own, is the assistance you will receive regarding general construction information, club layout, interior design, and the integration of your access, security, and surveillance systems.
During your build-out, you will have access to a dedicated Franchise Consultant. These consultants have assisted literally hundreds of franchisees through this phase of being a club owner. They are also available to assist you after your club is finished and you have begun selling memberships!
When all the dust has settled, you will be ready to open your club! You will also be ready to start living your dream!
