Boost your mood with a HIIT workout!
What is it about high intensity interval training (HIIT) that leaves us feeling so good?
There really is no greater feeling than that buzzy bliss that follows a satisfying sweat session. And apart from the fact that we’re left with the instant gratification of knowing we’ve just torched a load of calories (score!) – a release of healthy endorphins is usually to thank for that post-workout buzz.
There’s a few reasons why HIIT is a great option for an instant mood lifter.
1 – it’s short and effective. HIIT can transform you from moody to motivated in as quick as 15-minutes.
2 – you can do it just about anywhere. Head outside for some interval sprints, challenge yourself to some stair runs or get stuck into a quick cardio circuit at home.
3 – it can benefit your brain in more ways than just boosting your mood. More on that here.
Get those endorphins flowing with one of these HIIT workouts – stat.
