My name is Alex, and I am 55 years old. I joined Anytime Fitness in February this year to spend some time with my son Jerry. There was an 8 week challenge at the gym. I signed up for that, then signed up for a membership and I haven’t looked back ever since.
It’s been many years since I’ve done anything fitness-wise. Joining Anytime Fitness was a great opportunity to spend time with my son but also getting me back into fitness at the same time.
I now have a lot more energy and I feel fit and healthy. I can go on a run, walk up some stairs and not even notice it. It’s definitely been life-changing. You can put more into your day when you’re energised from working out at the gym.
I still have a lot more to achieve. I want to reduce my body fat percentage a little and put on a little bit more muscle, and work on my power output.
I love coming in here every day because it’s like this community. If you need someone to spot you with the weights, someone is always here to help. It almost seems like one big family.
